Selena Jokić, attorney at law. Independent practice since 2015.

Selena Jokić is an attorney at law based in Belgrade, at Brankova 23. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She passed her first bar examination in Skopje in 2003 and the Belgrade bar examination in 2014. She was entered in the Register of Attorneys of the Belgrade Bar Association in 2015 and has practised independently since.

Her practice began during her studies, as a volunteer trainee at the Basic Court in Skopje, and continued at the “Dukovski” law office. She took on the full range of legal work at the “Pavlović i Stojanoska” law office in Skopje. Since 2004 she has worked in Belgrade, first as a graduate lawyer and, after the Belgrade bar examination, as an attorney.

The core of her work is company law: incorporation, restructuring and status changes (mergers, acquisitions by merger, spin-offs and divisions), including documentation, negotiation and representation before the competent authorities. She also drafts and reviews contracts, represents clients in court proceedings and advises on employment law, working with both employers and employees. She further handles family, inheritance and contract law matters, the rights of foreign nationals and filings with the Business Registers Agency.

She holds a certificate in the rights of the child and the criminal-law protection of minors. She is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association. She works with clients in Serbian, Macedonian and English.
